On the question of visits there is a risk of going off topic. I'll start with two extreme examples: the Prime Minister (not the current one, I'm speaking in general) opens a blog and on the first day it totals 65,000 visits any one of us, therefore any stranger, opens a blog and on the first day gets 6 visits: 2 are his and the other 4 are from his sister and 3 friends Why in the first months – or rather, I would say even in the first year – are there so few visits to the blog? There is no answer. The lack of visits may depend on: Inconstant and low publication frequency : the blogger publishes when he remembers to have a blog, or publishes only one post per month or without a set cadence.
The articles he writes are inconsistent : nothing against it if you want to publish your scattered thoughts on the blog (i.e. articles of a sentence or two), but with that Special Data content you won't get anywhere. The title of the posts is not optimized for Google : in some cases I have seen that even the title of the post is missing! If anyone still doesn't know how to write them, I published a free ebook on how to write blog titles that work. The blog has not been advertised anywhere : not even on the social networks you frequent. Some have a blog but, when they comment on other blogs, they don't include the link. I wonder why. All factors that you can work on, that you can change. But at the beginning it's normal not to have any, I talked about it on the blogger's paranoia .
No comments at first My articles are of no interest to anyone Even on the issue of comments a lot could be said and I could give the same two extreme examples of the Prime Minister and the random guy. Why are there so few comments in the first articles – or rather, I would say in the first 50 articles? Again, there is no one answer. The scarcity of comments may depend on: Items of low interest : Yes, this can also be a cause. Returning to the example of scattered thoughts, is there really anything to comment on? Comment form outside the blog : is it easy to comment on the blog? It often happens that I cannot comment because the (smart) blogger has installed Facebook comments, so only those who are registered on Facebook can comment. Does this seem like a smart choice to you? The same goes for Google Plus comments and, worst of all, Disqus.
